Backed by Ag-Rite parts and responsive customer support The Ag-Rite Rotary Cutter is built for landowners who need dependable cutting performance when fields get overgrown, rough, and difficult to manage. Designed for tractors ranging from 22 to 50 HP, this heavy-duty brush hog is engineered for consistent field use where reliability, cutting strength, and uptime matter. At its core is a true 6-gauge steel deck measuring .19 inches thick, built for strong impact resistance in dense vegetation and uneven terrain. This reinforced construction provides nearly twice the thickness of many standard 12-gauge rotary cutters, helping the unit hold up under repeated heavy use in pasture and land clearing applications. The cutting system features two heat-treated free-swinging blades mounted to a balanced stump-jumper pan, allowing stable cutting through grass, weeds, saplings, and brush up to 2 inches in diameter. This setup helps maintain smooth performance under load while reducing strain during continuous operation in variable field conditions. To help protect the driveline in demanding environments, the unit is equipped with a cast iron gearbox rated up to 65 HP paired with a 540 RPM PTO shaft featuring slip-clutch protection. This system helps absorb shock from rocks, stumps, and hidden debris, supporting reduced wear and more consistent operation over time. The Ag-Rite Rotary Cutter is compatible with both Category 1 and Category 2 three-point hitch systems, including Quick Hitch setups, making it suitable for a wide range of compact and utility tractors. The adjustable cutting height from 1.5 inches to 11 inches gives operators flexibility to move between finish pasture mowing and heavier brush clearing as conditions change. A 15-inch laminated tail wheel provides steady tracking across uneven ground, while front and rear chain guards help reduce flying debris during operation for improved control in open fields, fence lines, trails, and rough terrain. This rotary cutter is designed for land maintenance, pasture upkeep, brush removal, fence line cleanup, roadside mowing, trail clearing, and general acreage management. It is built for operators who rely on their equipment season after season and need consistent performance across demanding outdoor conditions. Every Ag-Rite Rotary Cutter is manufactured to OEM standards and backed by Ag-Rite parts and responsive customer support, providing long-term confidence in product reliability and service support
