Africa must no longer be content to remain a vast market for finished products coming from Western countries or China. For a continent made up of 54 countries and an estimated population of several hundred million individuals, there is no excuse to continue exporting raw materials at low prices, while these resources fuel the economy and social welfare of other continents, keeping Africa in the posture of a “heavily indebted” continent. Africa alone constitutes a vast internal market for “Made in Africa” products. It is imperative to develop unprecedented entrepreneurial boldness in the coming years. Products intended for households, institutions, and businesses must be designed, manufactured, and assembled locally.
