The Long Yes: Missionary Stories of Potholes, Chickens and a Faithful God($14.99Value)

Description

Isaiah said: "Here am I. Send me!" What happens when a computer geek and a librarian say "yes" to God's calling to go to the mission field? Through this selection of stories from more than twenty years of missions in Africa and Southeast Asia, Henry and Betsy honestly share their blunders, funny moments, struggles, joys, breakthroughs and the countless ways God proved to be faithful. They are not the heroes of this book. The true Hero is the One who called them and Who's presence never left them. They hope that their stories of faith will refresh, inspire, and rekindle your passion for a God whose heart is for all peoples to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4)
