ATP 3-06/MCTP 12-10B is a dual-designated Army and Marine Corps manual that provides Soldiers/Marines with many of the concepts and techniques associated with conducting urban operations (UO). This publication supersedes ATP 3-06/MCTP 12-10B dated 7 December 2017. The principal audience for ATP 3-06/MCTP 12-10B includes Army/Marine Corps commanders, leaders, unit staffs, and Soldiers/Marines. Commanders and staffs of Army/Marine Corps headquarters serving as a joint task force or multinational headquarters should also refer to applicable joint or multinational doctrine concerning the conduct of joint UO (see JP 3-06). Trainers and educators throughout the Army/Marine Corps will also use this manual. ATP 3-06/MCTP 12-10B applies to the Active Army, Army National Guard, United States Army Reserve, and the Marine Corps/Marine Corps Reserve of the United States unless otherwise stated.
