DURABLE BASE: Featuring a thick-walled plastic base for enhanced strength and stability, this 18" base keeps your sign from being knocked over or damaged. Unlike concrete bases that will weather over time, these are made from a premium, reinforced plastic. Prevents crumbling, cracking, and chipping caused by continued weathering, ensuring long-lasting support for your signs. RECOMMENDED POST: Posts not included. Designed to be used with the 60" Plasticade Power Post, available in either black or white. Recommended for use with signs 24” x 24” or smaller (not included). Includes hardware kit: (2) 3/8" x 2-1/2" Zinc Hex Bolts, (2) 3/6-16" Thread Locknuts, (2) 3/8" Flat Washers, (1) 3/8" x 5" Zinc Hex Bolt, (1) Black Vinyl cap for top of post. ENHANCED PORTABILITY: Commonly used when posts can’t be installed in the ground or signs need to be portable. Recessed wheels make this base easy to transport. Made of a sturdy plastic, these ensure simplified use and quick setup when moving from one location to the next, or during loading. FILLABLE BASE: Recommendation based on ballast of 80 lbs. These posts have an 18 inch thick-walled plastic base that ensures stability and durability as it won't be easily knocked over or damaged. Unlike steel posts that will rust over time, these posts are made from reinforced plastic, which never rusts! Not only that, but using plastic posts vastly reduces excess workover time and cuts down on spending to continually replace steel posts. Signs attached to these square signposts also have a greater wind resistance than signs attached to round posts, as the rectangular shape provides more guard against any wind blowing against it, which also prevents warping. Wheels make the sign system easier to move. Casters feature polyurethane-lined wheels and zinc plated hardware. Wheeled bases come with two double wheel assemblies installed. Wheels cannot be installed in the field, so carefully choose your configuration at time of ordering. Although all Portable Sign Posts are pre drilled to fit signs of multiple sizes, each is manufactured for a sign with a certain set of dimensions. This particular post is made for signs that are 24" x 24" or smaller (recommendation based on ballast of 80 pounds).
