Description

SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN PROTECTION: Keep your backyard birds safe! A 2015 independent study showed that cats wearing a Birdsbesafe collar cover reduced bird kills by an impressive 87%. HIGH-VISIBILITY DESIGN: Songbirds have unique color vision. The vibrant pattern and bright colors are designed to be seen quickly by birds, giving them the extra seconds they need to fly to safety. REFLECTIVE NIGHT SAFETY: Not just for the birds—the integrated reflective trim ensures your cat is visible to motorists and neighbors during low-light or nighttime adventures. COMFORTABLE & EASY TO USE: Simply slide your cat’s existing breakaway collar through the cover. It’s lightweight, non-restrictive, and machine-washable for easy maintenance. ECO-FRIENDLY PET OWNERSHIP: Enjoy the best of both worlds by allowing your cat outdoor time while actively protecting local wildlife and bird populations. IMPORTANT FIT NOTE: This product is a collar cover only. A breakaway safety collar is required for use and must be purchased separately. Look for BirdsbeSafe Breakaway Collars as an excellent companion to this collar. USA MADE & FAMILY OWNED: Hand-sewn in the USA since 2017, our products come from a small family business that is deeply passionate about the safety of both cats and the bird populations they live among. The Birdsbesafe Cat Collar Cover will help songbirds see your hunting cat because birds notice bright colors like these. Birds see them as "more bright" and birds see them quickly and easily. The bird then usually has time to fly away to safety. Most cat owners find that their cat catches significantly fewer birds as a result. Some birds may still be caught. No guarrantee is made that all birds be protected from all cats. In 2015, an independent scientific study was published that showed an 87% reduction in birds caught by cats wearing our product in the U.S. location of the study. (Cat collar must be purchased separately or use your own.)
