A classic Italian Tomato Pisanello da Bruschetta with a short, thick, ribbed shape and juicy sweet-sour fruit. Semi-determinant variety.
Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. For better germination soak the seeds for a few hours before planting. Plant seeds ¼-inch deep into small containers with potting soil and keep the soil moist. Keep temp. at 70°F; preferably, use a heating mat. Transplant seedlings into 3 inches pots when 2-3 leaves appear and set them in a light, well-ventilated location. Transplant outdoors into a sunny spot once the soil temp. is at least 45°F and the air temp. 50°F. Harden seedlings off before transplanting. Space plants 36-48” apart in a row. Water regularly with warm water. Add fertilizer.
