Our focus on this missiological aspect of Romans and Galatians will help us see Romans 9 – 11 from a new perspective. Instead of considering these chapters as a simple “parenthesis,” we will see that they are the very climax of Romans. In Romans and Galatians, Paul provides the theological explanation for the missionary expansion of the church that had started in the book of Acts. His explanation was simply this: That salvation is for the whole world through faith in Jesus Christ.
