I got a text just before Christmas this year, “Mom, will you please make clam dip?” As you will see in the photos, there were several dips during the holidays while we played Catan, Dominoes, enjoyed the fire, and ate fondue. Dip has become part of our gatherings, and my kids convinced me to put this cookbook together. The title comes from the dream of an establishment that only serves dips. The Dip Shack will never come to be, but we are happy to share all the dips it might serve. This cookbook includes a variety of dips - veggie, meaty, seafood, dessert - all kinds of dips. Some will be familiar and can be made with ingredients you have on hand. Some are inspired by sandwiches and could become a meal. Some use ingredients that may be unusual.
