Most of her influences for her designs stem from environmentalism in one way or another. She is very passionate about protecting our pollinators and bird species, as well as protecting our public lands and national parks. She completely wrote, illustrated, and self-published this book, I'm More Than Just a Bug!, as a part of her college curriculum, but she plans on writing and illustrating more children's books in her free time. Laura currently works as a high school graphic design teacher in New Hampshire where she gets to work with students and teach them how they can use their graphic design skills to educate others on important social issues.
