The anchor is approx 18" (453mm) in length. Not to be used for overhead lifting. This anchor is a suitable size for boats in the range of 22 to 28 feet in moderate conditions. One piece design provides excellent holding power in nearly all bottoms including mud, sand, rock and coral. Stows easily on a bow roller. Rougher wind conditions or different bottom conditions may require a larger size anchor. This Bruce Claw Force Anchor is very effective in a variety of seabed conditions. This anchor sets and resets quickly. The single piece design allows the anchor to remain stable under a wide range of tide and wind conditions. This design is based on anchors used to secure oil rigs in the North Sea.
