Thanks to FSA's BB386 to PF30/BB30 Adapter you can run your longer 30mm spindle BB386 cranks in that new 68mm wide PF30 or BB30 bottom bracket frame you just picked up. These adapters sit just outside the bottom bracket bearings and are designed to occupy the additional space inherent with the rangier spindle and narrower shell. No need to buy a new crank just to accommodate a different bottom bracket standard. The alloy construction supports the spindle perfectly and is both light and highly durable. For 10 bucks, the conversion is made and you'll still have your longer spindle crank if you go back to a BB386 frame down the road.
