Description

This novel is about a Nigerian couple, Mr. and Mrs. Okonkwo who immigrate to America, after an arranged marriage, to start a family. The dynamic between the couple and their American-born daughter, Adaora is largely dictated by their Nigerian customs and it threatens to destroy their collective and individual dreams of a better life in America.
